To book in or receive a quote please head over to the ‘Bookings’ page on our website and fill out the form provided with as much detail as possible. From there, our artists will contact you directly as soon as possible and get back to you with their individual pricing and available times. If you have any issues booking through the website you can email us at vintagescarecrow@outlook.com or message us through our facebook or instagram account. We can’t wait to have you in the studio!

Yes, you will need to pay a deposit to secure your booking that will then be deducted off the total cost of your tattoo. All deposits are non refundable and the deposit amount and process may vary as each individual artist has their own policy. If you have any questions regarding your deposit please reach out to your artist directly and be sure to read any terms and conditions they provide you with carefully.

We currently accept cash and bank transfers as payment methods. However, some of our artists may offer additional payment method options. If you need alternative payment methods, please contact your artist directly to discuss what they have available.

Each individual artist has their own preferences regarding numbing cream so it’s always best to check with your artist before every appointment. The style of tattoo and placement on your body can also play a factor in if numbing cream is/isn’t recommended. Our artists pride themselves on being very understanding and all know the pain of a tattoo well. They will always work with you to make sure you’re comfortable at your appointment and walk out with a beautiful long lasting tattoo.

Yes, there is. We have 6 parking spots available behind the studio, including one disabled spot, and there is also parking in the middle of Port Road.

Before your appointment please be sure to get a good nights sleep, eat a good breakfast and stay hydrated. Do not drink any alcohol the day of or night before or take any Nurofen, Fish Oils or Omega 3 as these all thin out your blood.
We have a strict no alcohol or drugs policy and will not tattoo anyone under the influence under any circumstances.

Please check with your artist directly if you would like to bring someone with you for support. We always have room in our waiting area but some of our artists share their space, so depending on how busy the studio is that day your plus one may not be able to stay with you.

Yes we do! We currently stock Hustle Butter aftercare in two sizes.
We have a large tub (5oz) for $30 and a small tub (1oz) for $15.

Please bring any and all things that will help ensure you have a comfortable appointment. This includes things like; headphones, water, comfortable clothes, a book, snacks and/or lunch ect. We have a microwave, kettle and fridge available. Please also bring a valid form of photo ID and cash if you are not paying via bank transfer.
Please note; we only accept passports, proof of age cards and drivers licenses as valid forms of photo ID.

If you are unable to make it to your appointment for any reason please contact your artists directly (not through the website or studio pages/email) as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable and in some case non-transferable so please keep this is mind.

Each artists pricing will vary depending on the specific tattoo you are wanting so it’s always best to get a quote first if you have a particular budget. Things like; style, placement, size, and amount of detail ect will all effect the overall cost of your tattoo.
Our artists all have set pricing for half day and full day sits;
Claudia (Cloud Tattoos) - $800 half day, $1200 full day
Bec (Houdini Ink) - $550 half day, $1000 full day
Abbey (Rain Tattoos) - $400 half day, $700 full day
KJ (KJ Dot Tattoo) - $600 half day, $950 full day
Liam (Lkw Tattoos) - $595 half day, $995 full day
Please note that each artists half day and full day hours/times may vary so please reach out to them directly if you have any questions.

Yes, all our artists do offer touch ups but they each have their own policy in regards to timeframe and pricing. It’s best to get in touch with your artist as soon as you notice you are needing one and see what they can do for you.

We absolutely do sell gift vouchers! You can pop into the studio to grab one from us; we just suggest that you call before heading over to make sure someone is there as we are an appointment only studio.
Gift vouchers can be for any amount, for any artist at Vintage Scarecrow and expire after one year.
We also offer postage for gift vouchers at an added cost if you are unable to make it into the studio in person.

Here at Vintage Scarecrow we do not tattoo people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. We also do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 years old, even with parental consent, and we require a valid form of ID to be presented before getting tattooed. We also have a strict no alcohol or drugs policy and will not tattoo anyone under the influence under any circumstances.

Yes we do! We are always happy to help turn a tattoo you are not feeling good about into something you’ll love. For more information on cover ups please fill out the booking form on our ‘Bookings’ page and you and your artist can work out a plan from there. Please include pictures of the existing tattoo as well as what you are wanting to cover it up with in your booking form.
In some cases laser tattoo removal may be required to make the existing tattoo light enough to cover. This can also be done at Vintage Scarecrow by Houdini Laser (Bec).
